Introduction
♦ Humidity sensor is used to detect relative humidity according to its capacitive principle. Capacitive data collecting is made of polymer film capacitance. When the humidity changes, the permittivity of humidity capacitor also changes so that its capacitance changes. The humidity value can be obtained from this principle. Permittivity of dielectric substance is directly proportional to moisture absorption. When humidity increases, capacitance rises and vice-versa.
Usage
♦ Connect universal input to any port in SenseDisc.
♦ Connect Humidity Sensor to universal input.
Notes
♦ If the steam in the environment under measurement is possible to condensate (high humidity), you must prevent liquid flowing into circuit.
♦ Humidity Sensor response speed in flowing air will be quicken.
♦ If the environment under the measurement is very dirty or unclean, it should be covered by nylon cloth to avoid pollution.
