Introduction

G-M Sensor is used to study radioactivity experiment. It is mainly used to measure intensity of γ-ray and β-ray.


Usage

♦  Connect G-M Sensor to any port in SenseDisc.

♦  Insert G-M probe into Thermocouple.

♦  Put the sensor in environment being measured.


Notes

♦  Do not knock on probe otherwise it will be broken easily.

♦  Although the radioactive source used in school is normally weak, you still have to be careful with it.

♦  Use pliers or other fixture to operate radioactive source. Do not place it near yourself or others.Clean your hands after experiment.

♦  Preserve the radioactive source properly. Lock and tag it.
